Things I value
Things I value in my life: small details, special moments, storytelling, hiking, the mountains, dogs, the beach, spontaneous adventures, cuddling and watching movies, playing video games, deep talks, art, good food, learning, and laughing.
Where my Photography began and where I am now
I’ve always loved taking pictures. When I was younger, my pink Fujifilm point and shoot camera was my pride and joy, and the only reason I wanted a smart phone in junior high was to have a camera on me at all times.
I remember the moment I fell in love with photography. I took a picture of my baby cousin laughing, made it black and white, and something clicked inside me. I was head over heels for photography from that day on.
It’s been over 10 years since that moment, and I’ve put my all into developing my photography as an art form. It has been my life; my jobs, my spare time, and my education. Photography truly is my passion, and I hope to share in my excitement with you as we document your experiences and create your own art pieces in which you are creating with me!

My Experience
I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with an Emphasis in Photography from Utah Valley University, and to attend the program was one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. I learned film photography, how to develop my own film and prints in darkrooms, and how to do many historic processes. I learned about The Greats of photography and where the art form started and where it is now. Learning alongside so many incredible artists is a gift, and when people ask “do you need to go to college for photography?”, I will endorse it unapologetically! There is so much to learn, after all, you don’t know what you don’t know.
I photographed and assisted with a professional wedding studio and interned with professionals for years, gaining countless hours of experience in weddings, working with clients, and being introduced to alternate photographing approaches and methods to figure out what works for me and my own business.
